FROM BISHOP LEROY AND FIRST LADY CYNTHIA MADDIX’S HEART

Welcome to the year 2018. We are so excited, are you?

The number eight in the Bible represents a new beginning, meaning a new order or creation.

Forty different people wrote the scriptures. Forty is a number composed of five (symbolizing grace) times eight (symbolizing a new beginning).

It is therefore only by God’s grace and love that we have been given the opportunity for a new beginning.

Whatever happened in 2017, be it good, bad or indifferent, we must leave the past where it belongs “in the past” and now move forward in our faith with the Lord.

This is the year of transformational living, giving, serving and achieving.

As agents of transformation we will stand together, pray together, work together and succeed together.
